You can set the minimum price at which your Bridge Store shows and thereby sells non-Product Syncing Products and Product Syncing Products. Bridge offers separate settings for each.
About the Price Floor Feature
If a product is above price $X, people can purchase a quantity of one or more online. If the item's price is below $X, the shopping cart automatically places a quantity of items in the 'add to shopping' bag field that will meet or exceed the price floor.
The general public customer cannot purchase quantity of items that does not meet the price floor. If he/she wishes to purchase a lower quantity, he/she has to call your store.
You have two price floors on the Your Account page:
1. Non-Product Syncing Products
By default on your Bridge account, we've set your price floor for non-Product Syncing Brand items to $10.
2. Product Syncing Products
By default on your Bridge account, we've set your price floor for Product Syncing Brand items to $100. If Product Syncing Brand items are under $100, the quantity of the amount is increased to match the amount of your price floor. For example, if the price floor is set at $100, the quantity for a $32 plate would be automatically raised to 4.
If the Product Syncing Brand item is over $100, it's business as usual. A general public customer can buy a quantity of one or more of the items online.
Benefit to using the Price Floor Feature
The price floor feature helps your business avoid selling an item to a general public customer that is not profitable.
How to raise or lower your price floor:
- Please log in to your Bridge.
- At top of your page, please click the gear Management icon to open your Management Home page. Under My Business Profile, click General Settings.
- On the General Business Settings page of your Business Profile, browse to the "Retail Purchasing Online" section.
There are two settings:
Product Syncing Brand Price Floor
Non-Product Syncing Brand Price Floor
You can raise or lower the respective amounts.
- At the bottom of the page, please click on the Save Your Changes button.
Tip: The price floor does not apply to gift registry purchases. Registrants can still add items to a registry regardless of the price floor. Friends and family can still buy items from a registry regardless of the price floor.
