1. Sign up Email
When a registrant signs up on your website, your software sends the bride a welcome email by default. The welcome email contains a link to his/her registry.
If your store offers a gift card for completing the registry incentive steps, this welcome email will mention that.
Benefits of this email:
Your store will sell much more from a registry when a registrant adds a link on her official site leading to your site. This email includes a link to the registrants registry, which she can then share on her official wedding site. This email also gives the bride a written confirmation that her registry exists with your store.
How to turn off this email:
If you sign a registrant up on your Bridge website and you are logged in as an administrator, you can choose to not send the registrant a welcome email. You do this by unchecking the box that says "Send welcome email" on the sign-up form. We encourage you to send the welcome because to the registrant because it contains important information that helps your store sell more.
If you do not want registrants that sign up on their own on your site to receive a welcome email, you will change this setting on the Registry Settings page. There is a setting on the Registry Settings page in the "Registry Services" area.
2. Pre-wedding Emails
In the weeks leading up to the wedding, your Bridge software sends an email to the registrant. The email asks the registrant to add a link on his/her official wedding website leading to the registrant's registry on the store's site. Your software sends this reminder because if the registrant does not add a link, your store will very likely lose sales.
On the registrant's account, if the registrant has checked that he/she has done this in his/her incentive steps checklist, the software does not send this email reminder.
These emails are sent 45, 30, and 15 days before the wedding.
Benefits of this email:
Your store will sell much more from a registry when a bride adds a link on her official site leading to your site. The emails get that job done.

4. Post-purchase Emails
After a gift registry purchase is made, your software will send an email to the registrant alerting him/her that a gift has been purchased for the registrant. The email does not list the dollar amount of the gift. If the registrant wishes, he/she can log in to his/her registry and view orders and dollar amounts.
The store can set the software to delay the email alert that is sent to the registrant. For example, the software may wait 6 hours to alert the registrant that a purchase has been made. This allows you (the store) and your staff ample time to acknowledge and process the order before the bride is aware.
To change the delay on the gift alert email sent to the registrant, please see this support article:
