Share a product from your Shop Local account to your Facebook Page.
To do this, please:
- On your Shop Local site, search for or browse to the product you wish to share.
- Scroll to the bottom of the product's Details page and click "Facebook".
- A window will appear that allows you to either "Like" or "Share" the post. Click on the blue "Share" button.
- After you click the blue Share button, a Facebook window will appear giving you a preview of the post. Click on "Post" to share the product.
- Visit your Facebook account's home page and look for the product you just shared. Click on the product to confirm it leads back to your Shop Local site.
When that product is posted on your Facebook account, it will lead to the exact product (SKU) on your Shop Local website. With one click, your Facebook visitor can visit your Shop Local and view the item. If you have a retailer Shop Local account, the visitor can purchase the item on your Shop Local account.
Share Your Shop Local News on Your Facebook page (aka Make Shop Lcoal News 'Shoppable' via Facebook)
You or your Product Syncing Brand vendors can post news on your Shop Local site. You can share these to your Facebook page.
To do this, please:
- Log in to your Shop Local site.
- Roll over "Management" and click on "My News & Events".
- Find the news post that you would like to share.
- There will be options for where to share the post. Click "Facebook" to share the post to Facebook.
- A window will appear that allows you to either "Like" or "Share" the post. Click on the blue "Share" button.
- After you click the blue Share button, a Facebook window will appear giving you a preview of the post. Click on "Post" to share the news.
- Visit your Facebook account's home page and look for the news you just shared. Click on the news to confirm it leads back to your Shop Local site.
If the vendor $tagged the items in the post (most of them do), your customer will be one click from viewing/purchasing the product or collection on your Shop Local website.
