Luxury giftware designer to join e-commerce platform to help U.S. retailer base
New York, NY- Michael Aram, a designer of premium tableware, lighting, and giftware, has joined a new sales platform to help authorized retailers increase their online sales.
Beginning September 20th, 2016, the New York-based company will use Bridge, an e-commerce platform, to display more of its products via its retailers' websites.
"We recognize the value of the digital marketplace and are enthusiastic about the opportunities that will come from our partnership with Bridge," said Terri Eagle, President and CEO of Michael Aram. "We look forward to working with our Specialty Independent Retailers to help them grow their business online."
Michael Aram is placing over 600 items into the Bridge network which will instantly appear on retailers' websites. Traditionally, a retailer has had to manually enter each item into its website and search for professional pictures. With Bridge, the retialer can skip these steps.
"Most retailers show online just 10% of what they offer from a brand," said Jason Solarek, CEO and founder of Bridge. "This is due to all the work and expense of maintaining an online store and registry. With Bridge, an authorized retailer will be able to instantly show up to 100% of the Michael Aram line. This will result in more sales for the retailer—and as a bonus reduce their operational costs."
With Bridge, Michael Aram joins 93 leading home goods suppliers such as Waterford, Herend, and Vietri as well as over 3,000 retailers and sales reps that share 53,000 products via the Bridge platform.
Bridge reports that retailers that use Bridge sell 13% more than those that don't because Bridge retailers are able to streamline procedures and speed more product to their customers. Supporting this finding, Linda Motley, owner of P.S. the Letter in Fort Worth, Texas, remarked upon hearing the announcement, "I am thrilled that Michael Aram has joined Bridge. Our customers, particularly our brides, demand a quality online registry/shopping experience. Michael Aram joining Bridge helps us to offer an efficient, polished, updated, competitive website. It's is a win-win for everyone."
By launching in September, the Michael Aram Bridge will be ready to help retailers with the upcoming holiday season.
