Halcyon Days Partners with Bridge
English luxury lifestyle brand joins the e-commerce community to support U.S. retailer base
March 30, 2020
New York, NY — Halcyon Days, a designer of English handcrafted and manufactured luxury goods, has joined an online sales platform to help its authorized retailers increase sales.
Beginning March 30th, the United Kingdom-based company will use Bridge, an e-commerce platform, to display more of its products via its authorized retailers’ websites and gift registries.
Halcyon Days is placing approximately 119 items into the Bridge network. These products will instantly appear on authorized retailers’ and sales reps’ websites. Traditionally, a business had to manually enter each item into its website and search for professional pictures. With Bridge, the business can skip these manual steps.
"Most retailers show online just 10% of what a brand offers," said Jason Solarek, CEO and founder of Bridge. “Imagine trying to run a hotel with just 10% of rooms for sale, or an airline with just 10% of seats for sale. Due to this, stores often sell less than they could—and customers shop elsewhere or buy another brand. The Halcyon Days-Bridge solution will give customers the selection they want. It’s a win-win for retailers, brands, and reps.”
Authorized retailers will not be charged for the Halcyon Days product syncing service. Bridge’s product syncing service is free. "A retailer will be able to instantly display and sell up to 100% of the Halcyon Days line for less than a cup of English tea,” said Solarek. "This will result in more sales for retailers and the brand. Rarely can businesses increase sales and cut costs at the same time.”
By joining Bridge, Halcyon Days is connecting with nearly 500 indie stores. Already, 112 leading home goods brands including Juliska, Herend, Vietri, Waterford, and Beatriz Ball share 62,000 products over the network with stores in the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean.
“We have had a long-standing business in the USA which is a market very close to our hearts," Pamela Harper, Chairman & CEO of Halcyon Days, shared. "Joining with Bridge gives our existing retailers better opportunity to grow their business with us, and may well entice new retailers to join us! This partnership supports our brand and our USA sales team to be in a better position to support their local retailers. Win-win!“
In a recent study, retailers using Bridge reported selling 13% more due to the program.
By launching in March, the Halcyon Days-Bridge partnership will help retailers be ready for the upcoming bridal registry season.
