Does Bridge help store owners live longer? For example, do we help Brooks Terry live longer? Store owner Susan Hoechner? The answer is yes, and I'll explain.
Bridge helps Susan and Brooks save months of time via the Smart Products service. This can be viewed as time saved--or more importantly: as an extension of their lives. As a reference, Scott Galloway, an NYU professor and media savant, recently made this insight regarding life-extending services:
"Walmart Delivery Unlimited: At $98/year, that’s $2,940 over 30 years to get 120 days of your life back.
Netflix: At $156/yr, I’ll pay Netflix $4,680 over the next 30 years to avoid over a year’s worth of ads. If you could pay $4,680 to extend your life by a year, would you?"
To Scott's observations, I'll add this:
Brooks, who owns Babcock Gifts (https://babcockgifts.bridgecatalog.com), has 38,246 Smart Products in his Bridge Store, resulting in a time savings of 55 weeks--that's more than a year's worth of work. Brooks pays Bridge a small monthly service fee. How much is an extra year of life worth to Brooks? How much would you pay to extend your life by a year? That's a year more with family. Even if Brooks had an employee do the work, Bridge is saving the employee a year of life.
Susan, who owns Barbara Stewart Interiors (https://barbarastewart.bridgecatalog.com/), has 22,800 Smart Products in her Bridge Store, resulting in a time savings of 33 weeks--just over a half year's worth of work. Imagine what Susan can do with that 6 months. ...Maybe jump on the piano at FAO Schwartz.
Bridge shares 60k products with 450 stores across the U.S. and Canada collectively saving members decades of work. Or, viewed another way, extending members lives by decades.
