Shopify, a fellow e-commerce platform, has a blog that shares business tips. Braveen Kumar recently shared some tips about getting traffic in the first 30 days of setting up a website, including:
1. Email your friends and family a discount/coupon. But note: don't spam people. Only send high-quality, unique content, and send it sparingly.
2. List your URL everywhere.
3. Join online communities/groups to share your business story.
Do you get too much spam e-mail? There are ways to reduce it automatically. One way is setup a 'rule' in your e-mail system to move spam messages to a spam folder.
Your reviews page is a great spot to let customers share their opinions. Sadly, spammers may also target it. Please look at the reviews in yellow These are from spammers. Tell-tale signs are that the 'reviewer' added website links.

Security update: We're sharing this experience below to help the Internet community
Vultr.com is hosting a hacker.
Hours ago we wrote to Vultr about hacking coming from its servers that was attacking our server. They haven't replied. Due to their hosting a hacker -- and their delayed response, we question whether Vultr takes security seriously.
In addition, we tried to call them. There is no phone number listed on their site.
I received this spam below today. It came to multiple clients' e-mail addresses, from different "marketing directors," including "john" and "jason".
