Often found perched on a wire or a pole, the kestrel will pump its long tail to keep its balance while scanning for an unfortunate grasshopper. The sculptors and painters at Herend had no desire to embellish such a dignified ...

Available in large and small sizes and 3 colors: Palma (green), Mallorca (tan), and Midnight (dark blue). See all 3 colors at the Shadyside store.
THIN AND SIMPLE says it all, a perfect moniker for Pampa Bay’s latest juggernaut, a throwback to the shapes and looks the company achieved in stainless steel, its one-time material of choice, a decade ago. Then, in 2016, Carlos Barbagallo, president and owner, decided to segue into the dishwasher-safe, tarnish-free porcelain that looks like metal, using a proprietary, state-of-the-art technology that’s neither painted nor glazed. “Thin and Simple is our homage to the looks we ...

Indeed, green's in fashion. Palma's green leads the charge. While the name carries overtones a tropical green, it was actually inspired by the core décor of the capital city of our founder's favorite island retreat. The style is international in color and craft---and the grasscloth's pairing with hand-finished tortoise inspires us to bring the whole suite of trays, coasters and frames into our own homes!

This past weekend, Mr. Mims suggested companies may be reassessing where they source products, some even considering more domestic production. The motivation for this started a few years ago with the U.S.-China trade war, ...

Many of us will be with our family and friends this Thursday. I'll take a moment then to give thanks to all the indie retailers that enrich our communities. I'll thank the indie designers that fill our stores and homes with beautiful products.
When I'm in my friend's kitchen, someone may say they need a new spatula from Amazon, or after dinner ask Alexa to turn on Amazon TV. When they do, I'll consider those actions in light of the holiday. I'll share why this is important to consider.
It’s the most wonderful time of year in the Bluegrass! Don’t go without your Derby essentials this weekend, like a Salisbury Pewter julep cup and Julep Elixir.

Time to lighten the table with these gorgeous Blue Torquay plates. Clinging to the coast of Devon in Southern England was the elegant resort town of Torquay, renowned for its mild climate and its abundant marine life. The shells and entwined sea grasses inspired the Swansea potters who flourished between 1764 and 1846. This pattern was created Circa 1820. Made originally in the traditional English transferware style. Torquay enjoys just as much popularity today.

The design for »Fleurs Sauvages« draws on the sensations of blooming flowers, the humming of insects, delicate leaves and cool grass to give the overall impression of a walk in a summer’s paradise.
Inspired by the glorious harmony of the different plants in a flower meadow, Swiss textile designer Regula Stüdli came up with an arrangement of wild flowers and intricate twigs, scattered haphazardly and in striking contrast to the green leaves and white blossoms.
