"Are you happy?” That’s a question you may ask yourself. Your parents and friends also likely inquire (I hope!). While it may seem flaky to say, happiness is important. This topic was the subject of Dr. Edward Diener, who passed away in April of this year. Dr. Diener, who studied happiness and earned the moniker “Dr. Happiness,” reported that happiness often correlates with social relationships, being with others, and not being alone.

I spotted this tequila advertisement today in New York City. The first thing that came to mind was not spring break, but rather a riff on the ad’s tagline. I thought, “ ‘Independent store’ does not mean selling alone.” Bridge helps more than 800 independent stores team up to share products and resources. We make running an online business easier. We give them a ‘shot’ at winning online. That’s something we can drink to.

Vietri, a premium designer of Italian home goods and a member of Bridge, was featured in ‘Garden & Gun’ magazine. Using our service, Vietri syncs 1,000+ products with its retailers’ online stores in real-time.
In an advertisement the designer ran in the issue, we were happy to see that forty-seven percent of the indie stores it highlighted use Bridge. Of the 30 stores listed, 14 use Bridge Store to more easily sell Vietri.
In this month's Tableware Today issue, four brands promote their Bridge program. Badash, Bordallo Pinto, Carmel Ceramica, and Vista Alegre show the Bridge 'B' logo. We especially liked Badash's advertisement which states "Easily sell the items shown here" and lists the Bridge website.
Bridge is the easiest way for brands to get their products on to their retailers' online sales channels.

We're pleased to see Bridge promoted in two new Tableware Today print advertisements. Vista Alegre, producer of Claudia Schiffer's product line, promotes its Bridge service by displaying the Bridge 'B' logo in the lower right over Ms. Schiffer's yellow dress. Bordallo Pinheiro, a brand made and distributed by Vista Alegre, also displays the 'B' logo. (Nice peacock in the background!)
Retailers know that Bridge offers the easiest online tools to help them sell more. For this reason, the distributor Vista Alegre, which is Portugal’s largest producer of porcelain products, promotes Bridge in its advertisements. Retailers using Bridge and reading Tableware Today will see the logo and know that the products shown are already available to sell via the store’s respective Bridge Store. I visited the New York’s Post website--to get my fill of New York gossip--and I was shown a massive advertisement from a leading tabletop brand. (I have covered the brand's logo with yellow rectangles for the privacy of the brand.) Before visiting the Post's site, I had visited this brand's website. The ads appear because the brand has hired some advertising platform to track me around the web, show me ads, and direct me back to its DTC (direct to consumer) site.
I believe that Constant Contact is falsely promoting it is offering a free online store. I say this because the free service allows you to offer just 3 products and you must display a big advertisement for Constant Contact. Most retailers offer hundreds or thousands of products. A super small number of stores can offer just 3 products online. In addition, most stores don't want a big advertisement at the bottom of their website.
