Your Bridge Store comes with a built-in gift card feature. Customers can purchase gift cards for use at your store, and registrants can add them to their registry lists. Once a gift card is purchased or gifted, a store (and the customer or receiver) may wonder how to redeem it.
Bridge Store software does not allow customers or gift card receivers to redeem gift cards online. For example, a gift card recipient cannot visit a Bridge Store and use a gift card that was purchased via that Bridge Store.
The Bridge gift card feature is designed to be used with a store’s existing in-store gift card system. The merchant should convert the Bridge Store gift card value to whatever system the merchant uses in-store.
For example, if a customer purchases a gift card through your Bridge store, you may give or mail the customer a physical gift card. This gift card is only redeemable in-store.
