Formatting Product Files

Businesses use the following checklist to organize, format, and share Excel product files.

Bridge created this checklist to help businesses more easily share files and reduce costs.

Excel checklist:

  1. Confirm that your products follow the Product Share product guidelines shown here.
  2. Ensure that your Excel file has the column names listed below. To help get started with a new file, download our sample Excel file here.

  3. Remove columns not shown in the sample above.
  4. Please do not use hidden columns or rows.
  5. Please do not use Excel formulas to calculate any columns. For example, please remove formulas calculating retail pricing based off the wholesale price.
  6. One sheet per Excel file. Please no multiple tabs/sheets.
  7. One brand per Excel file. Please create multiple Excel files for each brand.
  8. One item per row. If you would like to import "multi-sku" products, that would use a different process than the one shown here.
  9. Collection_Name is required for Product Syncing brands.
  10. Please do not include Collection Name in Product Name.
