This graphic shows the situation in which many retailers find themselves. Many retailers are stuck trying to connect their digital wholesale buying and their stores’ websites.
On the left, we see wholesale software operators, including MarketTime, Juniper, Faire, Bridge, etc.
In the middle is the retailer.
On the right we see retail (D2C) software providers, including Bridge, Shopify, Big Commerce, etc.
The software entities on the left should connect with the ones on the right. A retailer should be able to make a wholesale purchase and have it appear easily on the store's website. Likewise, a retailer should be able to start on its website and initiate a wholesale purchase with a brand. But this is often not the case.
Bridge is the only software provider that bridges the wholesale and retail sides. Our software allows a store to place a wholesale order and display the items on its website. We also allow a store to start a wholesale reorder on its website and complete it with the brand.
For example, Joe, who owns a gift shop, can use Bridge to buy dinnerware plates from Casafina, a Portuguese tableware manufacturer, at wholesale on Casafina’s Bridge account. The plates will appear instantly on Joe’s consumer-facing Bridge Store. Joe doesn’t need to ask the brand for pictures or data to manually load it to his website. This helps Joe sell the plates he bought more quickly. It helps Joe’s customers see more products more quickly. When Joe wants to reorder the plates from Casafina, he can start on his Bridge Store and click one button to start the reorder process. Bridge’s Wholesale service requires 50% fewer steps by Joe than competitors’ wholesale systems.
