NEW YORK, NY — March 9, 2026 – Shop Local, the leading wedding registry platform for indie retailers, announced the 2026 Best Wedding Gifts award winners this week.  The honor is presented to the top 100 retailers and top 100 brands in America.  

The top 100 brand finalists included Juliska, Herend, VIETRI, and Costa Nova-Casafina.  The top 100 retail finalists were led by The Ivy House in Dallas, TX; Babcock Gifts in Memphis, TN; P.S. the Letter in Fort Worth, TX; and Friend & Company in New Orleans, LA. 

By state, Mississippi led with sixteen percent of retail winners, followed by Alabama (13%), Texas (11%), and Georgia (10%). 73% of the top 100 registry stores are located in the South — proving for the second year in a row that the region continues to lead the country in wedding registry culture.

The brand award includes this information:

• Number of retail stores using Shop Local that report selling the brand.
• Number of wedding gifts offered online (if it's a Shop Local brand partner).
• A website link to shop for gifts from the brand.
• Top wedding gifts from the brand (if it's a Shop Local brand partner).

Award Benefits

• Retailers can use the award to source new products. For example, a retailer like The Ivy House, which already sells 70% of the winning brands, may consider stocking products from the other 30% it doesn't carry.  
• Brands can use this award to celebrate their best indie retailers, as well as identify new prospects.
• Shop Local is giving the winners an award they can place in stores, showrooms, and online, such as on their website and social media platforms. On the websites that Shop Local manages, the award will automatically appear on the stores' and brands' pages. How the Finalists Were Selected 

• The finalists were chosen based on 2025 online wedding registry sales from 1,450 retailers that use Shop Local's Online Store and Registry service. These retailers collectively sell 3,500 brands. The brands honored are the top 100 brands sold online via gift registries by the 1,450 stores that use Shop Local's Online Store.
• To be considered for the list, a retailer needed to be a client of Shop Local because Shop Local only has access to the online registry sales for its active retail clients. (A brand did not need to be a client of Shop Local to be considered; 58% of brands that received an honor are clients, while 42% are not.)
