The More E-Commerce Grows, the More It Hurts When It Doesn’t Work

Besides the obvious bad news in this article, I found some interesting stats in it:

• Online sales accounted for 16.1% of total retail sales in 2024, up from 15.3% in 2023.
• Foot traffic to physical stores fell 2.1% on Black Friday compared with the same day a year ago.
• People spent $11.8 billion online the day after Thanksgiving, a 9.1% increase over the same day in 2024.
