Shop Local retailer Rutland's of TXK recently showcased their registry table, and we love their creative touch—displaying the registrant’s QR code right alongside the place setting. It’s a simple yet powerful way to make shopping easy and engaging.

These codes are perfect for use in in-store registry displays. Customers can scan the code to browse the registrant's list online while walking around in-store, saving your business from having to print new copies when items are added or removed.

How to Access the Registrant's QR Code

1. Log in to your Shop Local account.
2. Roll over Gift Registry in the main navigation, then click Gift Lists from the drop-down menu.
3. Find and select the registry that you wish to view.
4. You'll be taken to the new Registry Overview page for that registry.
5. At the bottom of the Overview page, you'll see the "Share Your Registry" card.
6. Click the QR code. A modal will open, allowing you to download the code as a PDF or image.

Another great use of QR codes is the Monthly Flyer.  You can download a flyer with your monthly registries to easily promote them in-store. These custom flyers save your store time because they’re pre-made with no extra work needed. The QR codes enable customers to quickly and easily view and shop registry items directly from their phones while in-store.  The Monthly Flyer also features a single QR code that highlights all registries for the year, making it easy for guests to start their own registry and providing a direct link to your Review page.

How to Access the Monthly Flyer

1. Log in to your Shop Local account.
2. Hover over Gift Registry in the main navigation. From the drop-down menu, click Flyers.
3. Select your month. You can even select all registries in a year.
4. Click the blue button to download your flyer.
5. Print your flyer.
6. Place the flyer in your store. Place it by the POS and/or in an upright display.  
   1. If you are in a high-traffic outdoor area, be sure to place the flyer in a prominent location, such as your front window.
