New Feature: A Text Message Quickly Informs Registrant About a New Gift 📲
Your Shop Local Store has a new feature: A registrant can now receive a system-generated text message when a gift is purchased off their registry list.
How this feature works:
When a registrant creates a new registry, they’ll be asked to enter a phone number during sign-up.
Below the phone number field, there will now be a checkbox that reads: "This is a mobile telephone number and may receive applicable text messages."
This box is checked by default.
If the box remains checked, the registrant will automatically receive a text message whenever a gift giver purchases an item from their registry.
The text will include the store's email and phone number, making it easy for registrants to get in touch with your store regarding their gift order.
