Potter's Wheel announced their new registry service and added a link to their Shop Local store on Facebook.
Kathryn, the store owner created the post using the Shop Local template provided on the marketing page of her Shop Local account.
How a retailer used Shop Local marketing materials to promote their registry service on social media.
We're happy to see Potter's Wheel promote their Shop Local registry service on Facebook. They did a great job promoting their registry online, and you can too.
In the Facebook post, Potter's Wheel announced their new registry service by using a pre-made template. They added a QR code that leads to their registry home page. The store also added the link leading to their registry home page in the text of the post.
By promoting their service on social media, Potter's Wheel receives the following benefits:
- Registrants can sign up for a new registry.
- Gift givers can locate and shop for gifts on a registry.
- The link to the page was also added in the Introduction section of the retailers Facebook page, so visitors to the site can always access it.
- Promoting the service on social media helps increase visibility and builds sales.
Great news: you can access the marketing materials on your Shop Local store to create social media posts and signage for your store. Shop Local Coaches can show you how to add a link to social media or your primary site leading to your Shop Local store.
