New Software Features & Updates
Use the new "loss avoidance" banners to see how Shop Local helps you avoid labor costs and pricing errors.
Your Shop Local Store has a new feature: We added new banners that show how much your store avoids losing by using the Syncing service.
On the Dashboard, you'll now see two banners in the Syncing Service section showing:
- How much your store avoids spending on labor each month on website labor.
- How much your store avoids losing per sold item (due to price increases).
To access this feature, please follow the steps below:
- Log in to your Shop Local account. You will be taken to your account's Dashboard.
- On the Dashboard, please scroll down to the "Syncing Service" section. In this section, you'll see the loss avoidance banners with stats calculated for your store.
- To see how the stats are calculated, please click the "Details" link in each banner.
About the Syncing Service:
- By Syncing, your store avoids losing money on orders due to selling a product at the wrong (often lower) price.
- The Syncing service keeps your products' prices up-to-date.
- The Syncing service updates products in your Shop Local Store. The brands do their respective maintenance work by adding and updating the products—saving you (the retailer) from having to do it.
