New Feature: Sell to Interior Designers

FOR BRANDS AND DISTRIBUTORS

Your Shop Local Store has a new feature: Interior designers can now view interior designer pricing for your brands and make purchases. If an interior designer is approved by your business, they can log in to your account and buy items at the wholesale designer price set by your business.

In the example shown, we see an interior designer logged in to BIA Cordon Bleu's account. The interior designer can place wholesale orders at the designer pricing set by the distributor. The interior designer can see the designer pricing offered by the distributor on a product's Details page (in this case, 40% off retail). When the interior designer reviews their shopping bag, they see the interior designer pricing set by BIA Cordon Bleu. They can checkout.

For Brands, please follow these steps to turn this feature on or off:

1. Log in to your Shop Local account.
2. Hover over Management at the top of the page. From the drop-down menu, click Brand Settings.
3. Scroll down to the "Designer Pricing" section.
   • If you wish to offer designer pricing, set the "Show designers (interior, etc.) pricing that is different than wholesale?" drop-down menu to "Yes." By default, the system is set to "Yes."
   • Once you set the drop-down to "Yes", select the % off using the "If "Yes" above, what percent off the retail price is the designer price?" drop-down menu. The options in the drop-down are:
     • 10% Off
     • 15% Off
     • 20% Off
     • 25% Off
     • 30% Off
     • 35% Off
     • 40% Off (Default)
     • 45% Off
   • If you do not wish to offer designer pricing, set the "Show designers (interior, etc.) pricing that is different than wholesale?" drop-down menu to "No."
4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Your Changes.

If you wish to share steps with your interior designers to gain access, share these steps:

Interior Designers, please follow these steps to access this feature:

1. Log in to your Shop Local account. (Please note: you must have a Shop Local account to make a purchase via Shop Local.)
2. Using the search bar at the top of your account, please search for the brand that you wish to place a wholesale order from.
3. In the brand's search result, please click Start Wholesale Order. You will be taken to the brand's Shop Local account in a new browser tab.
4. On the brand's account, search for or browse to the product that you wish to purchase.
5. On the product's Details page, you will see U.S. designer pricing and U.S. retail pricing. The designer pricing is the % off set by the brand.
6. Please click Add to Wholesale Shopping Bag.
7. Click the Wholesale Shopping Bag link to review your shopping bag. In the shopping bag, you'll see "Interior Designer Pricing: You are receiving X% off the retail price."
8. Once you have added all of the items that you wish to order to your shopping bag, please continue the checkout process to place your wholesale order.
