The retailer just needs to open a free Online Store.
You can sign the retailer up, or the retailer can sign up.
Shop Local will give the retailer a $500 credit.
The retailer can use the $500 towards a paid Gift Registry feature.
A retailer can choose to just use the free services and not a paid feature. It can choose to use the $500 if it wishes to use a paid registry feature. The $500 credit is good for 12 months.
Shop Local covers 100% of the above bonuses.

Terms:

You must sign the merchant up for the Store account, or the merchant must list you as the referral.
Sign the retailer up before November 1, 2023.
After the merchant is active for 90 days, Shop Local will send you a check.
The store must sync with one or more of Shop Local's 110+ Syncing Brands. View a list of Syncing Brand members here: https://www.shoplocal.org/smart-brand-members.cfm. For example, the store just needs to sync with VIETRI or Juliska.
The referred store must not be an existing active Shop Local member/customer.
The referred store must have a physical storefront.
The referred store must add a link on its official website or social media linking to its Shop Local Online Store.
When the merchant uses the $500 towards the registry service, the credit will be applied to the registry service per the pricing for registry plans listed here: https://www.shoplocal.org/pricing.cfm?retailers.
