You can sign up the retailer or the retailer can sign up.
Shop Local will give the retailer a $300 credit.

Terms:

You must sign up the merchant for the Store account or the merchant must list you as the referral.
Sign up the retailer before September 1, 2023.
After the merchant is active 90 days, Bridge will send you a check.
The store must sync with one or more of Shop Local's 110+ Syncing Brands. View a list of Syncing Brand members here: https://www.shoplocal.org/smart-brand-members.cfm. For example, the store just needs to sync with VIETRI or Juliska.
The referred store must not be an existing active Shop Local member / customer.
The referred store must have a physical storefront.
The referred store must add a link on its official website or social media linking to its Shop Local Online Store.
If the merchant uses the $300 towards a wholesale purchase, the merchant must make their wholesale purchase via Shop Local's wholesale platform.
If the merchant uses the $300 towards the registry service, the credit will be applied to registry service per the pricing for registry plans listed here: https://www.shoplocal.org/pricing.cfm?retailers
