Your business may wish to only allow/accept registry purchases by shoppers and not wish to receive non-registry purchases (which we sometimes reft to as self-purchases or general purchases).
Steps to Turn Off Self-Purchase:
- Please visit your Shop Local Online Store.
- Please log in.
- Please visit your Online Catalog & Store page. One way to get to this page is to roll over “Management” in the top bar, then from its drop down under “Business Profile & Settings” click on "Online Catalog & Store.”
- Once on the My Online Catalog & Store page, please find the area that says "Online Retail Features & Services.” In that section, at the top there is a setting “Offer Online Retail Store”.
- Please update this setting to “No.”
- Please scroll to the bottom and click on “Save."
Once you do the above, your Online Store will still accept registry purchases (if you have that service active already), but it will now no longer accept not registry purchases.
