If you wish to close your credit card processing accounts, you'll need to contact both the processor and the gateway companies. Your processor will differ whether you set up processing through Shop Local or if you are using a 3rd party processor.
For members that set up processing through Shop Local
- Closing your Service First account:
- Contact Service First to request your account closure.
- Send them an email and cc us ([email protected]). You may contact them at [email protected] or 866-372-5551.
You'll need to provide your Merchant Account Number. This can be found on the Online Catalog & Store tab of your Shop Local Settings.
- If you are unable to find your Merchant Account Number, please reach out to a Shop Local Coach.
- Closing your authorize.net account:
- Contact authorize.net to request your account closure.
- Submit a Chat & Support Case:
- Sign in to the authorize.net Merchant Interface.
- Click Contact Us at the top of the page.
- Click the Support Center link. This signs you into the Support Center.
- From there, click Contact Us to start a chat or Support Cases to create a support case and request your account closure.
- Close over the phone:
- Client Services is available to answer your questions by phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (closed major holidays).
- Call: 1-877-447-3938
- Submit a Chat & Support Case:
You may need to provide your Gateway ID. This can be found in the Merchant Profile of your authorize.net account.
- Contact authorize.net to request your account closure.
For members that set up processing through a 3rd party processor
- Closing your 3rd party merchant account:
- Contact your processing company and request your account closure.
- We are unable to provide any information related to your 3rd party account.
- Closing your authorize.net account:
- Contact authorize.net to close your gateway account.
- You may need to provide your Gateway ID. This can be found in the Merchant Profile of your authorize.net account.
- Submit a Chat & Support Case:
- Sign in to the authorize.net Merchant Interface.

IMPORTANT: Once your processing and gateway accounts have been closed, please be sure to notify us. This ensures we remove any linked processing credentials or information from your Shop Local site.
