A registrant can add their monogram or engraving information to an item's listing on their registry. Items eligible for monogramming or engraving will now display a "Monogramming or Engraving: + Add" link, where registrants can add their monogram details.
This feature works in two parts:
- Syncing Brand updates the setting for Synced items to allow monogramming. Store updates this setting for non-Synced items.
To allow monogramming, a brand or retailer will follow the steps below:- Log in to your Shop Local account.
- Find the item that you allow monogramming for.
On the product’s Details page, click on the green Edit Product button.
In the floating white window, click on SKU, Pricing, and More.
- Click the box Allows Monogram or Custom Letters.
- Select the max allowed Monogram Letter Count in the drop-down menu.
- Click Update Product.
Please note: A store cannot edit this setting for Synced items. A Syncing Brand will need to update this setting for an item so it can be visible to a store or registrant. A store can only edit this setting for non-Synced items.
- A registrant adds monogram information to the item on their registry.
To add monogram information to the item, a registrant will follow the steps below:- Log in to your registry on Shop Local.
- Browse to an item on your registry list.
If the item has been updated to allow monogramming, you'll see Monogramming or engraving: + Add.
Click +Add. A modal will appear where you can enter your monogram information.
- Click Submit.
Please note: This feature will only be visible to a registrant on Synced products if a Syncing Brand has allowed monogramming on Synced products or if a store has allowed monogramming on non-Synced items.
