Your Shop Local Store sends emails to customers and gift givers. Below is a list of emails sent out by the software:
- Abandoned Cart Email
- Order Confirmation Email
- Gift Purchase Confirmation Text
- Gift Notice Sent to Registrant Email

- Review Request Email
Abandoned Cart Email
Your Shop Local software sends an email to customers that do not complete their purchase. The software sends this email if the customer has not completed their purchase by the following day. It sends the email the day after the customer initiated the purchase but didn't complete it. If the customer has not completed their purchase 3 days later, it will send a second email. In total, up to two abandoned cart emails are sent to the customer. After the first email, a customer can choose to unsubscribe and not receive additional emails.

Order Confirmation Email
When a customer places an order via your Shop Local Store, they'll receive an email after their purchase confirming their order. The email thanks the customer for their order and includes details related to the order (i.e. order id, product(s) ordered, order total, delivery/shipping info, etc). If the purchase is for a registry, the confirmation email will also include the registrant's name(s), gift type, and the gift message (if entered).

Gift Purchase Confirmation Text
When a gift giver places an order via your Shop Local Store, they receive a text message if they opted in to texts at checkout. The text thanks them for their gift purchase and gives them your store's contact info in case they have any questions regarding their order.
Gift Notice Sent to Registrant Email
When a gift giver places a registry order via your Shop Local Store, they'll receive an email after their purchase when a registrant is notified of the gift. This email will thank the gift giver and include details such as the order ID, products ordered, and the total amount. It will also inform the gift giver that the registrant has been notified of the gift and that the registrant now has the gift giver’s email and phone number, allowing them to reach out if needed.

Order Status Update Email
When a customer places an order via your Shop Local Store, they'll receive emails with updates on the package's delivery status (shipped, delivered, etc.). When you update the Order Status area on the order's Details page, if applicable, an email will be sent letting the customer know about the updated order status. The customer can unsubscribe from this email alert.

Review Request Email
Your Shop Local Store sends customers an email asking them to review your business after they complete a purchase. Shop Local recommends allowing review requests. Reviews boost traffic, help your Google ranking, and encourages customers to make purchases.
