A registrant may have multiple registries. These may be at your store, Amazon, Crate & Barrel, and/or another indie store.
The registrant can add all of their registries on their wedding website on The Knot. How the registrant's items are displayed determines whether your store will appear at the top or the bottom.
- If a registrant only adds links to their registry at your store and one of The Knot's syncing partners (ex: Amazon, Crate & Barrel, etc.), a link to their registry at your store will appear at the top.
- If a registrant adds links to their registry at your store, one of The Knot's syncing partners (ex: Amazon, Crate & Barrel, etc.), and add gifts from The Knot's Registry Store, a link to their registry at your store will appear at the bottom.
Here are two examples of this:
A. Registrant has a Registry on Amazon and Two Shop Local Stores
- In image 1, a registrant has 3 registries: Amazon, Luxury Gift Shop, and The Best Registry. Two of these are registries with a Shop Local merchant.
- The registrant added all 3 to their wedding website on The Knot.
- Since The Knot and Amazon have a partnership, items synced from Amazon appear on “Our Wish List.” Any items from stores The Knot has a partnership with will appear here.
- Since those are the only synced items, The Knot adds all registries to the top of the page in a "Gift Providers" section, including Amazon.
B. Registrant has a Registry on Amazon, Two Shop Local Stores, and Added Gifts from The Knot
- In image 2, we can see gift options being promoted to the registrant on The Knot.
- The Knot offers gift options that you can add directly from The Knot Registry Store to your registry.
- In image 3, we can see the registrant added items from The Knot Registry Store.
- Since these items were added, the "Gift Providers" section no longer appears at the top.
- This is likely to place priority on the items sold by The Knot and its partners (ex. Amazon, Crate & Barrel, etc.).
- The items that appear first are those that were added from The Knot Registry Store. Then, synced items from partners will show. In this example, the registrant added a test Amazon registry to their registry stores. Those are the other products that appear here.
- In image 4, we can see the Shop Local Stores were moved to the bottom of the registry in a new "More Gifts" section.
- Since the registrant added gifts from The Knot Registry Store, their other registry links for other stores that aren’t The Knot partners now appear at the bottom.
- The registrant's Amazon registry doesn’t appear in this list anymore because it now only shows the Amazon synced items mixed in the Wish List with the items from The Knot Registry Store.
